Preventive Health 101: How to Eat and Live to Prevent Disease

Get Serious About Your Health

Despite how much we know about the benefits of healthy habits, chronic disease continues to increase around the world.

Defined by the CDC, chronic diseases are conditions that last 1 year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living. For example, heart disease, cancer, and diabetes are all preventable chronic conditions, yet they are the leading causes of death and disability in the United States.

Many chronic conditions are widely impacted by our lifestyle choices. From what we eat to how much sleep we get, there are ways to reduce our risk of suffering from chronic disease.

If you’d like to understand why we often struggle with unhealthy lifestyle choices, and which ones are worth changing today, join us for Preventive Health 101: How to Eat and Live to Prevent Disease on Saturday, June 19th at 5:00 pm MST.
